Teesside Hospice are changing lives across Teesside by supporting people and families who’ve been affected by a terminal illness.

Teesside Hospice support around 3,000 people in Tees Valley, primarily in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland.

Teesside Hospice help them make the most of every day, ensuring they receive the best possible care by creating experiences and memories that last a lifetime.

Role Description

Are you passionate about making a difference behind the scenes?

Do you thrive in an organized environment and enjoy working with clothing items?

If so, Teesside Hospice want you to join their team as a Volunteer Stock Sorter!

Age Requirements: from 14 years old plus.

Purpose of the Role

Completion of various retail tasks including:

• Preparing donated items for sale.
• Using a clothes steamer to ensure clothes look their best.
• Attaching labels and tags to donated items for easy browsing by customers.
• Pricing of donations.
• Identifying unsaleable donations for recycling.
• Keeping the stock room organised and tidy.
