Introducing the Beyond Housing Community Fund

The Beyond Housing Community Fund has been developed to support Beyond Housing’s approach to social value.

One of their key objectives is to invest in neighbourhoods to create great places to live and work.

Beyond Housing appreciate the important role local organisations and community groups play in making customers and communities succeed and thrive.   

The creation of the Beyond Housing Community Fund provides an opportunity for local community projects and activities to be strengthened with funding support.  

Project objectives should meet one or both of the following themes: 

• Keeping communities warm and well – Projects that promote health, wellbeing, and energy efficiency in our neighbourhoods.
• Bringing people together – Initiatives that foster connection, belonging, and social interaction amongst residents.

Apply for funding

• Grant amounts – Up to £500 for your community project.
• Eligible applicants: Local charities, voluntary and community groups, residents’ associations, parish/town councils, and other non-profit organisations working within areas where Beyond Housing has homes. 

Funding guidelines

• Funding will only be awarded via a group/organisation’s bank account and not to an individual account.
• Constituted groups will be required to submit a copy of their constitution or governing documents and public liability documentation.
• Scoring preference will be given to those projects which can demonstrate they have match funding in place in the form of either monetary contributions, materials or volunteer time.
• All awarded funds must be spent by the end of March 2025.
