Context of Role

A Way Out is an outreach and prevention charity which aims to engage, empower and equip vulnerable and excluded women, families and young people to live lives free from harm, abuse and exploitation and to reduce life limiting choices and behaviour.

Role Description

Would you like to be part of an innovative approach to improving life chances for men and women who experience multiple disadvantages?

As an Adult Project Worker you will be an integral part of their Horizon adult service team, working collaboratively to achieve defined project outcomes.

Your role will involve providing essential and trauma informed support to women and men across the Tees Valley who have experienced abuse, harm, or exploitation, focusing on their holistic well-being and facilitating their journey towards empowerment and recovery.

Purpose of the Role

You will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, developing and co-developing interventions, case management, daytime, and evening outreach activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.

Additionally, you will actively engage with local organisations and contribute to multi-agency support efforts.

Enhanced DBS checks will be required.
