RCVDA Volunteer Awards 2022
The RCVDA Volunteer Awards 2022 have taken place, highlighting the incredible work of volunteers from across the borough. This year’s event took place at Guisborough Hall and was hosted by Jeremy Gartland from Zetland FM.
There were nine categories to choose from for this year’s awards, including Empowered through Volunteering, Outstanding Community Group, Health & Wellbeing, Young Volunteer (under 21), Innovation/Enterprise, Volunteer of the Year, Outstanding Trustee, Volunteer Team, Lifetime Achievement and Special Awards.
Carole Marshall, Volunteer Support Officer from RCVDA added: “Well done, not just to the winners, but to all the nominees. It was great to see so many special individuals who do such selfless work to better the lives of residents of Redcar & Cleveland.”
“Volunteers are the unsung heroes of our borough and I’m glad we were able to host the awards this year and give them the recognition they deserve.”
