Friends of Guisborough Forest & Walkway – Job Vacancy
Are you passionate about our countryside? Do you want to help promote and improve educational and recreational facilities at the Guisborough Forrest and Walkway?
The Friends of Guisborough Forest & Walkway are a committed group of volunteers who work closely with both Redcar & Cleveland Countryside Rangers and the Forestry Commission to conserve and enhance the natural and industrial heritage of the site. The Friends support events, conservation tasks, fundraising and guided walks to name just a few. We work closely with the Ranger to identify and plan projects to keep improving the Walkway and continue our site enhancements for its many visitors and in order to do so, we are looking to fill a vacancy for the group Secretary. The role includes supporting the smooth running of our meetings, taking of minutes, maintaining records and administration and compliance with charity commission regulations etc.
