IAPT Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (Ref. AJD) – Interviews will be held virtually on Friday 13th August
This an exciting new opportunity, we are looking for people who are highly motivated and want to expand their knowledge and skills. They will be trained to deliver outcome focused evidence based interventions and guided self-help to children and young people that are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Please note that this post is a 12 months fixed term contract and that future work will be dependent on securing additional funding.
Salary: Agenda for Change Band 4 during training (£21,892). Agenda for Change Band 5 once qualified (£24,907)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (consists of 3 days at University, Supervision and a Study Day and then 2 days Case Work).

Children & Young People’s Group Facilitator (30hrs) (Ref. BJD) – Interviews will be held virtually on Thursday 12th August
As part of the government’s trailblazer project to put new Mental Health Support Teams in schools (MHSTs) we are looking to recruit a Group Facilitator to join a partnership team with other local VCS organisations, providing support in Primary and Secondary schools across Middlesbrough & Redcar and Cleveland. The Group Facilitator will play a vital role in the team, providing Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health provision by supporting children and young people to build resilience skills through group activity.
The successful applicant will become trained in delivering the Friends Resilience programme which empowers children and young people to become engaged and thriving individuals, and promotes positive social and emotional skills.
The applicant will have at least 1 years experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, and will have the skills and ability to lead group activities. We are looking for someone passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people, to provide them with the tools they need at an early stage to have positive emotional and mental health.
Salary: £17,878 (actual) £11.46ph
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
