Welcome to this edition of the RCVDA E-Newsletter!
In this edition:
Volunteers’ Week 2021 is almost here!
Volunteers’ Week takes place between 1-7 June every year and is a time to recognise and thank volunteers – those people from all walks of life who support organisations year in and year out, and who make a huge difference to their communities.
During an exceptionally difficult year, existing volunteers, together with those new to volunteering, have come together to support one another in the most extraordinary ways.
That’s why the theme for this year’s Volunteers’ Week is ‘A time to say thanks’.
To help us acknowledge the amazing contribution made by volunteers during the last 12 months, RCVDA would like to encourage you to take the time to reflect on what volunteering in the last year has meant. We would love to hear your inspiring stories and see any pictures! Please send to [email protected]
We will also be sharing volunteer opportunities – if you have an opportunity you would like to advertise, please send details, together with a leaflet, poster etc. to [email protected] and we’ll do the rest!
We will share stories, and opportunities on our social media networks every day throughout Volunteers’ Week 1-7 June 2021.
