Race day is Sunday 29th September 2019
We are recruiting volunteer marshals for the Redcar Running Festival. There are a variety of different duties for volunteers to get involved, these include:
- Manning a road closure – ensuring the road closure is observed and being a focal point for the runners.
- Goody bags – giving out our goody bags and T-shirts at the finish.
- Helping at water stations – giving out drinks and helping with cleaning post-race.
- Race Helpers (Game Makers) – Ensuring runners know where they need to be and get to the start on time.
Volunteers are required to attend a race briefing at Redcar Leisure Centre, at 8am on race day and should be finished for the day at approximately 2pm.
We provide refreshments, a race t-shirt and goody bag as well as the opportunity to be a part of a great event!
