Keep Britain Tidy is seeking new #LitterHeroes Ambassadors to join our volunteer programme and we need your help!
During your work you may meet members of the public who want to volunteer and have a real passion for community engagement and keeping public spaces clean. We’d love you to encourage them to apply to join our enthusiastic #LitterHeroes Ambassadors in becoming community activators across the UK.
The #LitterHeroes Ambassador programme is supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery and aims to support community cohesion, improve public spaces and help benefit mental and physical wellbeing.

The Link Charitable Trust (LCT) is a Redcar based charity working with children, young people and families, supporting local families by offering regular drop-in advice and information sessions, educational training programmes and a range of activity and social groups for children, young people and families to reduce social isolation and enable new friendships to be made.
The charity has successful in an application to Sirius Minerals Foundation, to deliver an employability project ‘Time for Me’. The aim of the project is to empower, up-skill and support local people into education, training or employment.
We are currently recruiting a Community Development Worker post for our ‘Time for Me’ project. This post will be fixed term for 12 months with a salary of £21,469 per annum. Continuation after 12 months is subject to further funding.

FREE Forum ‘Dreaming of Dementia – visions for the future’

We now have six speakers who will set out their work/visions for around 10 minutes each and answer any questions allowing time for you to be involved and contribute to a vison of the future for dealing with dementia.

Great North City Games
On Saturday 7th September, Great North City Games will come to the Tees Valley, where thousands are expected to enjoy this incredible spectacle in the heart of Stockton Town Centre. Stockton high-street will be transformed to host world-class athletes from around the glove as they compete along side the very best of home-grown talent. Make sure you are in the Tees Valley to be part of the biggest sporting week in the North East this September.
