Devolution in Tees Valley
Wednesday 18th May from 9.30am to 12.30pm at North Shore Academy, Talbot Street, Stockton, TS20 2AY.
Following the Tees Valley Devolution Conference on 27th January where we heard about the proposed Devolution agreement and about the voluntary sector experience with devolution in Manchester, the Tees Valley LDA’s and VONNE are bringing the VCS together to shape a collective VCS message, ‘offer’ and ‘ask’ of the new Combined Authority.
This follow up seminar provides an opportunity for voluntary sector representatives working in Tees Valley to start to shape our collective response to devolution plans and set out how we contribute to economic growth and social inclusion in Tees Valley.
The seminar will be interactive in format providing ample opportunity for delegates to explore what the sector sees as the key challenges for the new combined authority and how the sector can and need to be involved in shaping and delivering solutions.
Places are limited to two representatives per organisation and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Organisations must be from the VCSE (Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise Sector) and working in the Tees Valley area.
