Could your Organisation benefit from a Part-Time Apprentice?
The Shared Apprentices Scheme allows apprentices to complete a full apprenticeship programme by working with a number of different employers, to gain the skill sets they require to gain valuable qualifications.
It has been set up to help employers who want to support the development of skills and of individuals but who are unable to make a full time commitment to an individual apprentice. The scheme originally started with private sector construction employers but we are keen to assess demand across the sector.
Initially looking to place individuals with skills in administration and social media we want to find organisations interested in offering opportunities possibly for a day or two per week and willing to make a pro rata contribution towards the wage cost of the individual apprentice.
Redcar Adult Learning Service will provide the training required to complete the apprenticeship which could include English and Maths dependent on the level of the student as well as Business Admin or Social Media at L2 or L3.
