Development of Services and Activities for Older People in Redcar and East Cleveland
Redcar Development Trust (RDT) are wanting to develop services for older people, and as part of this process are setting up two focus groups:
- One for older people to come and give their views and
- One for other groups, charities, etc to come along so they can ensure group working
RDT are keen to work with local people and groups to ensure they provide activities and services which people want and need, and they want to work with other local organisations to understand the current level of provision and ensure the services which are developed compliment existing services.
The first focus group aimed at individuals / groups is on Wednesday 23rd September 2015 at Coatham Memorial Hall – 2-3pm. At this session you will be asked to give your views on current provision and identify new activities which can be developed.
The second focus group aimed at other organisations is on Wednesday 23rd September 2015 – Coatham Memorial Hall – 3-4pm.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available through-out.
Please confirm your attendance by emailing Louise – [email protected] or phoning 01642 483263
These are open groups to anyone that would like to help RDT shape future services so please communicate with anyone you think would be interested.
Building Better Governance in the North East
Getting your governance right can be tricky for non-profit organisations. However, it is absolutely crucial for achieving your organisation’s mission.
For information on CASS CCE’s Building Better Governance North East Programme, brought to the region in collaboration with Teesside University and The Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland see here.
Learning from this programme has enabled MVDA to review and revitalise our governance practice and inspired us to bring the series to the North East
