NHS South Tees CCG AGM and Health Fair – Save the Date

NHS South Tees CCG would like to invite you to save the date for their Annual General Meeting (AGM) and health and wellbeing fair which will be held on the afternoon of 9th September 2015 at Redcar and Cleveland Community Heart.

They are planning to have health and wellbeing market stalls on the day so please do get in touch to register to have a stall as places are limited by emailing Phillipa.poole@nhs.net.

They will confirm the time and further details shortly.

Review of Life Store and exploration of health advice in Redcar and Cleveland

NHS South Tees Clinical Commissioning Group has a duty to regularly review all of its services and the Life Store is no exception. Whilst the service is commissioned for the entire South Tees population, of particular concern to the CCG is service data that suggests comparatively low numbers of residents from the Redcar and Cleveland areas are accessing the service.

They will be exploring, through engagement with the public, partners and stakeholders how the service can extend its reach into all South Tees communities and what service model may be required to achieve this. Following public engagement and a subsequent review of options by the CCG, there could be changes to the way the service is currently delivered. They are working with their current commissioned service provider Pioneering Care Partnership and public health colleagues from Middlesbrough Council and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council.

As a key stakeholder in the Life Store service, they encourage you to take part in the review by sharing your views with them and promote the opportunities for local people and organisations to help shape the way forward.

There will be an online survey for members of the public to complete and they are holding public events on the following dates.

6th August, 10-12pm
St Mary’s Centre, Corporation Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 2RW

10th August, 2-4pm
Tuned In, Majuba Road, Redcar, TS10 5BJ

The events will be ‘café style’, with small round table discussions and people can drop in at any time.

They expect to make a decision regarding the future of the service in September and will of course notify you at the earliest opportunity of the outcome.

To discuss the review further, please do not hesitate to get in touch – details below.
