A reminder of what this session is all about:
DO YOU WORK WITH CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE, OLDER OR VULNERABLE ADULTS?
This training is aimed at trustees, volunteers and paid staff to give them a broad understanding of their role in safeguarding.
This introductory session will cover Safeguarding for groups working with both children and young people and those who support Adults at Risk.
Learning outcomes for the session will include:
- An understanding of the meaning of Safeguarding
- Understand the categories of abuse and spot signs
- How to take steps to make sure the people attending your organisations activities are safe.
- Safe recruitment
We can also provide one to one support for local groups including safeguarding policy and procedures review.
