We have been asked to circulate the following information on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)
An invitation to consider applying for membership of one of CPS North East’s Community Engagement Panels, circulated on behalf of Caroline Airs, Equality, Diversity and Community Engagement Manager at CPS North East
CPS North East is currently recruiting for some new members for our Community Involvement Panels. These Panels are a key method of engaging with the communities we serve, and ensuring that CPS North East involves our communities at a strategic level. A subgroup of the Panels acts as a Disability Hate Crime Scrutiny Group, and we are particularly (but not exclusively) interested in recruiting new members who have knowledge and understanding of Disability Hate Crime and experience of supporting victims of Disability Hate Crime. We are also particularly interested in recruiting some younger members (17-25).
Please read the following documents if you are interested in applying
- Further information about the Panels
- Application Form
- Equalities Monitoring Form
- Panels Terms of Reference (for information only)
Please note the closing date for applications, 6th March.
