The Community Health Fund is provided by Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council through Grants to Voluntary Organisations and Community Groups and is part of a number of initiatives that build community capacity for health, wellbeing and independence.
The aim of the fund is for local organisations to develop and implement low level, community based activities that have a positive effect on the health and well-being of local residents aged 20 + — particularly those people who are most vulnerable or isolated within our communities.
Groups can apply for grants from £300 – £1000.
There have been some changes to the criteria in this round so please read the application guidelines carefully which can be found on RCVDA’s website here. Applications are via an online application form which should be submitted by no later than 5.00 pm Wednesday 9th July 2014.
