Sportivate Funding
SPORTIVATE-FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS TO HELP DELIVER SPORT
The Sportivate funding programme for the period April 2014- March 2015 has recently been launched. Sportivate is aimed at encouraging more young people aged 11-25 to take part in sport and physical activity. It is an exciting opportunity to help community groups provide innovative and challenging activities to meet the needs of young people in their community. We are looking for delivery partners to provide a 6-8 week programme of taster sessions and then help direct participants to take part in activity after the sessions have finished. This could be in a club or through activities delivered by your organisation. We are now inviting partners to submit applications to take part in the programme and would welcome applications from a wide variety of organisations. We are particularly keen to target the following groups in Year 4;
- Women & Girls
- Young Disabled People
- Young People aged 19-25 years
Please note that the project applications should be returned to Sarah Panayi at Tees Valley Sport. The deadline for the return of applications is 4pm, Thursday December 19th 2013. Sarah Panayi can help with any queries relating to the application process or Sportivate in general and can be contacted at s.panayi@tees.ac.uk or telephone 01642 342287.
Market Position Statement – Social Care Services
Sent on behalf of R&CBC
Dear Colleague
You may be aware of Redcar and Cleveland’s Market Position Statement. Many providers were involved in its development earlier this year and it was subsequently published in June. We are starting to refresh the document ready for republication in 2014 and would appreciate some feedback from you.
A short on line questionnaire is attached and we would be grateful if you could complete this by 24th November to enable feedback to be collated.
In addition we will be running a workshop later in the year and will be in touch with you regarding your involvement.
