Redcar & Cleveland Third Sector Consortium

In 2011, RCVDA in conjunction with the R&C Voluntary Sector Forum secured the support of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) to explore and support the development of local ‘not for profit’ consortia and from this work the Redcar & Cleveland Third Sector Consortium was established.

The primary goal of the new consortium is to improve the lives of local people, especially those who are most in need, through the provision of high quality, responsive, generalist and specialist services and initiatives.  The focus of the consortium will be on building on the capacity and track records of existing third sector organisations to deliver a range of holistic, bespoke public services at the point of need.

It will aim to achieve this by securing appropriate contracts for the delivery of public services primarily in (but not limited to) the fields of:

*    Health and Wellbeing
*    Adult Social Care
*    Advancement of Education
*    Children and Young People

*    Housing
*    Asset Management
*    Environment
*    Physical Activity & Sports
*    Arts and Cultural Activities
*    Relief of Poverty

Current members of the Consortium are:
